Join us for an inspiring and life changing weekend of personal transformation with Toltec Masters Don Miguel Ruiz Jr and Don Jose Ruiz.

The Toltec shamans of Mexico for centuries have used the art of storytelling to share the gift of awareness with the next generations of Toltecs.

In this powerful experience, you’ll join Toltec masters Don Miguel and Don Jose to explore the deep meaning and value of these ancient stories, how they apply to modern life, and how the Toltec path has changed their lives. The need to heal from our addiction to suffering is greater than ever in the face of the current pandemic. The shamans have heard this need, and are opening their sacred medicine and sharing their sacred hearts to help unite and heal people. Join them to:

  • Become aware of the infinite possibilities of life.
  • Gain awareness of how your attachments create your reality and impact your expression of love.
  • Learn to define yourself, and stop creating your identity based on the opinions and judgments of others.

You’ll learn how to apply these lessons in everyday life to begin to heal and bring harmony into the dream that we co-create with everyone in our life, starting with ourselves.

Don Jose will inspire you to “unlearn” what has held you back from experiencing personal freedom, using teachings from his books Wisdom of the Shamans and The Medicine Bag, a tour de force of the most popular rituals and ceremonies in Toltec tradition.  Don Miguel Ruiz, Jr., will share his teachings on The Mastery of Self, a Toltec philosophy that explains how a person can wake up, liberate themselves from illusory beliefs and stories, and live with authenticity.

Join the Ruiz brothers on this life changing spiritual journey and give yourself the gift of going beyond fears and to find the courage within to maintain strength and stay faithful in love and with life. Learn the art of not taking things personally, and become the love of your own life. This is an organic learning and personal growth experience, attendees should come with an open heart as these Toltec masters will lead the workshop with their wisdom and use exercises to bring the material to life.

Come prepared for adventure! Due to social-distancing requirements and in accordance with California state guidance, Esalen will be hosting all programming in modified indoor-outdoor spaces, and outdoors. Please come prepared with warm, layered clothing, as well as wet weather gear in case Mother Nature blesses us with rain during your stay. Workshops will be held in a covered space with heaters, and may move back and forth from outdoor spaces into covered spaces.
