Vince Draddy

Vince has been teaching the Diamond Approach for the past 22 years and has been a student for 34 years. He leads ongoing Diamond Approach groups in California, The Netherlands and Ireland as well as working with individuals. He is married with two children.

He spent two years in Asia engaging in extended meditation and chi kung practice and exploring various eastern mystical traditions. It was in Asia that he discovered a book by A.H. Almaas, founder of the Diamond Approach and prompted his return the US to join a group. Having competed in two Olympic Trials as a professional runner and engaged with a Five Animal Form of Chi Kung for the past 35 years he brings a unique perspective on the importance of the body in spiritual exploration. This includes an emphasis on how we relate to the body in meditation and spiritual inquiry. He places a priority in all spiritual practice on the necessity of love, compassion and acceptance for the usual self that is the core of our suffering.
