Vic Cooper is an Open Floor teacher and co-founder of Open Floor International. For more than 30 years, he has supported and assisted movement-based practice around the world, traveling extensively with his wife and longtime collaborator, Andrea Juhan, to over 100 workshops internationally. 

Vic brings a playful, grounded, and relational presence to the dance floor, inviting curiosity, connection, and embodied exploration through movement. His teaching supports both individual inquiry and collective experience, encouraging participants to listen deeply to sensation, impulse, and relationship as they move. 

In addition to his work as a movement facilitator, Vic is a highly respected DJ and music mentor within the embodiment community. He is known for his ability to weave music that supports emotional depth, somatic awareness, and group cohesion. Vic also teaches facilitators the technical, creative, and relational skills required to use music as a powerful partner in movement practice—guiding energy, shaping experience, and supporting transformation. 

His work reflects a long-standing commitment to presence, play, and the intelligence of the moving body as a source of insight, connection, and resilience.
