In developed nations worldwide, boys are falling behind girls in every academic subject, as well as in mental health, physical health, and in preparation for productive careers. Why is this happening, and what can we do about it? In this workshop, Warren Farrell and John Gray, co-authors of The Boy Crisis, and Ashanti Branch, founder of Ever Forward and practitioner-advocate for inner city boys, will introduce participants to the evidence, causes, and solutions to the boy crisis.
This unique offering provides a dynamic, supportive process for the participants to connect; to listen, share, and build networks of understanding and take action to help address the boy crisis. Using interactive experiences, this workshop will help parents, therapists, teachers, and community leaders understand how to motivate boys.
Note: This workshop is designed for adults working with or parenting boys.
