Emergency Closure Relief Fund

Your Support Matters

“Thank you for everything Esalen. I hope you get through this storm.” — Josephine Y.

“I love you Esalen. Thank you for the peace and healing you bring to the whole world." — Serena J.

Thank you to all our friends near and far who helped us to raise more than $1 million for our Emergency Closure Relief Fund. Your generous support, along with that of our Board of Trustees who sponsored a gift match, helped us reach this milestone. We have endured the longest closure in our history and look forward to reopening on July 28. We are also pleased to announce that as part of the emergency fund, we will be allocating more than $60,000 to scholarships.

On behalf of the entire Esalen community, thank you!

“This gift is to help support the unique contribution which Esalen makes to humanity and to assist with your current most pressing needs, including efforts to reopen the Big Sur campus.” — Michael J.

"In honour of the work, passion and commitment to a more authentic, connected and sustainable community.” — Nicole K.

“Though a very small amount, to help Esalen Friends in these difficult days. Full of potential." — Elizabeth L.
