James S. Gordon, MD, is the founder and executive director of The Center for Mind-Body Medicine and author of The Transformation: Discovering Wholeness and Healing After Trauma. He is Clinical Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Family Medicine at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, and was Chairman of the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy under Presidents Clinton and G.W. Bush.
