“When we can embrace a broken heart with true compassion, grief gives us the strength to hold all the pain and difficulty, the courage to take one more breath, and the capacity to build a powerful new life,” says Kim Mooney. “But first we have to truly understand what it is, how we approach and handle our pain and confusion, and how it can change us alchemically. In this workshop, we’ll use community and nature to explore our personal and human grief and create our own metaphors for breathing through chaos. We will also engage in exercises, simple ritual, and body awareness practices that ground us when we are groundless and help us develop powerful practical skills to carry us with grace through our deepest sorrows.”
Note: Participants will receive a phone call From Kim one week before the workshop with information about what to bring to Esalen.
