Spiritual awakening is spreading rapidly, and many diverse paths and practices are responsible for supporting seekers in this ultimate quest. One such path is the Way of Love, or bhakti, as it is known in the yogic tradition. Chant artist, author, and Bhakti Yoga educator, David Newman (Durga Das), has made it a life's passion to illuminate the path of love as a vehicle for spiritual awakening. In this workshop we will explore what it means to be spiritually awake, and how you can get there through the practice of opening your heart and loving unconditionally as a way of life. David will offer practical guidance for accessing the wisdom of your heart through kirtan (mantra chanting), satsang (group reflection), self-inquiry, and meditation. The aim of this weekend gathering is to reveal the ways that opening to love, fearlessly and wholeheartedly, can lead to spiritual awakening and fulfill your search for deeper meaning, greater happiness, and even ultimate truth. All are welcome.
