You may be familiar with tennis or golf clinics, which are intended to scrutinize your game and help you improve it. But what about personal leadership? As we lead our personal and professional lives in many different contexts, personal leadership skills can define success or failure. This workshop is designed to identify what may be limiting your personal leadership capability, and help you gain the competency for the next stage of your personal and professional journey. Through short "lecturettes" and discussion, we will review the principles of effective leadership, powerful communication, and how to gain the sense of presence needed to move your career forward. Participants in this class will each receive a leadership profile by completing an online assessment in advance. Based on these profiles, we will review the traits and tendencies that best support effective leadership and strengthen your skills. This will be an experiential and highly interactive class. We will create a learning community and a supportive environment to look at ourselves clearly and compassionately and try new ways of exercising leadership in relation to self, others, and what we do.
