Join us for a very special opportunity to participate in the Esalen learning culture in a relaxing, relatively unstructured way. During this retreat you can deeply nourish body, mind, heart, and soul by enjoying beautifully prepared and healthy meals, daily yoga and movement classes, the hot springs, a massage, and time in the meditation center.
The weekend will kick off with a wine reception on Friday evening hosted by the kitchen staff, during which they’ll discuss Esalen, its teaching/learning kitchen, the role of the farm and garden, and information about local food inspirations. As part of the experience, on Saturday evening Esalen Chef Phillip Burrus will host an intimate dinner with a favorite local winemaker in the Murphy House. Additionally, on Saturday morning Esalen will host a guided garden tour. Participants can harvest herbs and vegetables that will be used during dinner. And, anyone who wants to spend some time cooking the Saturday evening meal in the Murphy kitchen is invited to join! Normal workshops fees and cancelation policies apply.
