We all want to be strong, flexible, and full of energy and vitality, yet so many of us experience pain and limitation and are less fit than we would like to be. We may believe that it is due to prior injury, our age, or some missing “talent.” In our efforts to be pain-free and fit, we often overlook our brain, which actually organizes all action, including movement, thinking, feeling, and emotion. We now know that the brain can easily change for the better at any age when given the right conditions and information.
This experiential workshop introduces the Anat Baniel Method®, which is a science-based NeuroMovement® approach that wakes up the brain and can create new patterns and increase fitness and vitality. Through gentle, safe, and pleasurable NeuroMovement lessons, lectures, hands-on exercises, videos, and question-and-answer sessions, the group will practice the method, which is proven successful with tens of thousands of people, from high-performance athletes, dancers, and musicians, to those suffering from pain and injury, as well as children with special needs.
