Workshop Details

This is our twelfth meeting of women physicians since 1997. In a community of peers and colleagues, we will reflect deeply on our personal and professional lives, encourage a better balance of work and play, and support each other in our evolution as healers. Our theme for this conference is Healthy Body, Open Mind: Unleashing Your Creativity.
Each day participants will experience these activities:
· Facilitated small-group seminars to explore the creativity and joy, as well as the grief and traumas, of medical training and practice
· Exploration of self-care strategies, work-life balance, and effective personal and career transitions
· Open time to pursue activities that renew your vitality and creativity
Bring your journal, your watercolors, sunglasses, and a great book! We encourage you to attend with a colleague or friend from medical school, residency, or your community.
Note: This workshop will offer Category I Continuing Medical Education credit. All participants must be physicians (MDs or DOs). Initial registration for this program is through the Hektoen Institute of Medicine. To begin the registration process, please contact Leslie Waters at tourowneyes@gmail.com. Visit the TOOER website https://sites.google.com/site/ourowneyes for more information. Only after you have registered with the Hektoen Institute will you be able to register with Esalen.
