Conflict is everywhere: It is within us, and it is in the world outside. Yet we all yearn for peace. We yearn for the possibility that the different parts of our being, and the different peoples of the world, will finally learn to live together in harmony.
Nitsan Gordon and Efrat Ashiri have led peace-building courses for Arab Palestinian and Jewish women and men in Israel for more than eighteen years. Now they have combined their knowledge to create an approach for personal and social transformation that is deep, moving, joyous, physical, emotional, and spiritual. It is based in Playback Theatre and a multidisciplinary approach called Together Beyond Words.
During this first-of-its-kind workshop, you will be invited to share your stories and see them acted on stage, to be an actor/actress in the stories of others in the group, to listen deeply, and to feel the power of movement. Through a sensitive, holistic process suitable both for seasoned actors and beginners, you will be guided to awaken the peacemaker that is within you — that loving entity that can support our own healing and bring more healing and peace to the world.
The workshop includes playback theater experiential, creative movement, games, dancing, deep sharing of feelings and guided inner reflection, and is especially designed for those who would like to be more connected with their ability to make a difference in this world.
