How do we cultivate and sustain fulfilling intimate relationships that nurture our being and ignite our passion? Intimacy with another begins with caring for one’s self; a real challenge when we’re busy parenting, building careers, engaging in new romance, or dealing with divorce, grief, or loss. Mindfulness practice opens our hearts to deep listening. “Who am I and what do I want?” Intimacy training gives us tools to reclaim a deeper sense of self and build a greater capacity for relationship with others.
In this sacred circle of women, we explore issues that challenge us to stay present in our ever-changing lives. Through individual sessions, group processes, and personal reflection, we will explore effective practices for cleanly expressing and receiving authentic emotions without blame or judgment. When we are fully present, emotional expression becomes fuel for our passion and creativity whether we feel excitement, anger, joy, fear, or sadness. Body meditation, voice work, creative art, movement, and storytelling affirm our spiritual nature, connecting us with a deeper knowing. From this place we can awaken to our unconscious patterning, learn to let go of behaviors that no longer serve us and cultivate the intimate lives we are yearning for.
A list of things to bring to the workshop will be sent to participants after registration.
