Workshop Details

Rediscover how to approach life as an inspired human being during this uplifting, playful, and creative workshop. Everyday life has so much beauty to offer when we adjust our vision to recognize it. Do you save special stones or tidbits from nature, or treasures and mementos from life events? If so, the journey of appreciation has already begun. We will each make our own unique art piece as a touchstone to the heart. All materials will be provided, including handmade papers, natural fibers, and treasures, found objects and other magical items, wood for bases, and hardware to hang your art. Open your eyes to new ways of seeing. Learn the value of visual simplicity, a benefit that can be carried into all facets of life. We’ll explore the simple and satisfying art of placement, and the impact of shapes and textures. Other creative exercises will be offered to surprise your imagination. Let lightness and joy lead your life. Creativity exists in each one of us. No art experience is necessary.
Bring a journal, a willingness to experience an interlude of mystery and play, and a few cherished items you’d like to include. These could be photos, favorite stones, or other meaningful items.
