Enlivening Your Relationship: A Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Retreat for Couples
Week of January 5-10

In the urgency and speed of life, time squeezes our attention into a narrow band of to-do’s. What suffers is connection — to yourself and to others. Perhaps early in the new year is the time to step away from the demands of your life, recommit to your relationship, and relax some of the coarse energies of the body, heart, and mind in order to access the deeper waters of gratitude, kindness, and compassion.
Through a series of guided reflections and heartfelt mindfulness exercises, you will learn about the skill of dropping down beneath surface waves of turbulence to a quieter and more balanced place that is available to all of us. From this centered place a series of dyadic exercises will support the deeper sense of reconnection, appreciation, and loving communication with our partners which we all yearn for.
Settle into a weeklong retreat during which your only job is to tune in to what is happening inside of you and inside of your partner. Remember what it feels like to be present, interested, and appreciative of yourself, your partner, and the life you are creating together. No prior meditation experience is required.
