Emergency Closure Relief Fund
Gift Match Extended Until June 30
Double the Impact of Your Gift
“Thank you for everything Esalen. I hope you get through this storm.” — Josephine Y.
“I love you Esalen. Thank you for the peace and healing you bring to the whole world." — Serena J.
Esalen has been closed since February 12, the longest closure in our recent history. And while Esalen itself may feel farther away, we know that we are part of a larger, global community that is always connected. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generous support of our friends. That support is even more critical now as workshop revenue makes up nearly 90% of our operating budget.
“This gift is to help support the unique contribution which Esalen makes to humanity and to assist with your current most pressing needs, including efforts to reopen the Big Sur campus.” — Michael J.
Every gift matters. And when you give today, your gift will be doubled by a special gift match by Esalen's Board of Trustees. Already more than 1,500 donors, many giving for the very first time, have shown their support for which we are deeply grateful. With 10% of every donation allocated to our scholarship fund, we’ve already raised nearly $50,000 to make it possible for more people to experience Esalen when we reopen.
"In honour of the work, passion and commitment to a more authentic, connected and sustainable community.” — Nicole K.
“Though a very small amount, to help Esalen Friends in these difficult days. Full of potential." — Elizabeth L.
Our world needs Esalen, and Esalen needs you. Please consider giving today to the Emergency Closure Relief Fund. Thank you.
