This workshop brings together a team of internationally recognized scientists, meditation teachers, and clinicians to deepen our understanding of how to live a meaningful, healthy, and joyful life. Weaving together ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience, the group, facilitated by Shauna Shapiro, will explore the transformative effects of a diverse array of meditative and contemplative practices, including mindfulness meditation, compassion and forgiveness practices, mindful yoga, and experiential exercises.
Come rest and rejuvenate yourself in good company during this darkest time of the year, which also is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the return of light and the joy of life. We will integrate meditation practices with revolutionary research in neuroscience to explore the transformational power of meditation during this profound seasonal milestone.
Join internationally recognized teachers to weave together ancient wisdom traditions of Tantra and meditation with modern neuroscience. Think of Tantra as a loom – the framework for weaving together the threads of body and soul, spirituality and sexuality, and individuality and universality.
Come learn how to rest in the heart of joy, ease and loving presence. Drawing on practices of mindfulness and lovingkindness as well as revolutionary research in neuroscience, we will explore the transformational power of meditation. We will discover how the weaving together of lovingkindness and mindfulness supports us in healing and living a joyful, vital and compassionate life.
