What does mindfulness practice have to offer gay men? Many of us have made great strides overcoming homophobia and shame. We are truly creative survivors of adversity! Yet even for men who have successfully negotiated these challenges, it’s easy to get caught up in emotional reactions to the common stressors of daily life. Emotions provide a rich texture for our lives: inspired by love, moved by anger, and touched by grief. We often respond to oppression and losses in our lives based on these feelings.
