Welcome to Gazebo School Park

Gazebo School Park is a nature-based early childhood program for children ages one to six located on an acre of gardens, meadows, and orchards at Esalen.

Open to children of Esalen workshop participants, leaders, guests, staff, and Big Sur residents, Gazebo offers reading nooks, art spaces, a children’s theatre, and other opportunities for children to engage their bodies and minds. Daily activities can include planting, harvesting, and composting fruits and vegetables, exploring nature, caring for animals, art projects, cooking, stories, and dramatic play.

During wet weather children learn and play in our farmhouse classroom and first aid safety bus across from the Park.

Gazebo is open from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

For tuition information and reservations, contact gazebo@esalen.org or call 831-667-3026.
