A Typical Work Study Weekly Schedule

While there really is no such thing as a "typical" workstudy or workscholar experience, this is an approximation of how the time might be structured for a work scholar in the Cabins (housekeeping) work scholar group.

Actual schedules will vary.

Monday

Time Activity
7:30 - 9:00 AM Work at the tubs
9:00 - 9:30 AM Breakfast
9:30 -12:30 PM Work in laundry room, baths, or re-stocking supplies around the property
12:30 -1:30 PM Lunch
1:30 - 4:00 PM Clean rooms around the property.
4:00 - 6:00 PM Free time. Go to an open session on relationships or a yoga class.
4:30 - 7:00 PM Track Two groups meet
6:00 - 6:30 PM Dinner
6:30 - 8:00 PM Free time, relax in your room, watch the sunset, and soak in the baths
8:00 - 10:00 PM Track One Groups Meet

Tuesday

Time Activity
7:30 - 9:00 AM Clean the baths
9:00 - 9:30 AM Breakfast
9:30 - 10:30 AM Work in laundry room
10:30 - 12:30 PM Departmental process group
12:30 - 6:00 PM Free time
6:00 - 7:30 PM Dinner time
8:00 - 10 PM Track One groups meet / Optional Visiting Teacher Program for Track Two
10:00 - 12 AM Optional hanging out by fire pit listening or playing live music

Wednesday (day off)

8:30 - 9:30 AM Breakfast
12:30 - 1:30 PM Lunch
6:00 - 7:30 PM Dinner

There are many optional classes, events, and things to do, including: meditation, dance or yoga, community Gestalt sessions, hiking, swimming in the pool or soaking in the baths, Wednesday evening programs, playing at the Art Center, massage, going to town, etc.

4:00 - 6:00 PM Optional open session related to your Work Study group

Friday

8:30 - 9:30 AM Breakfast
12:30 - 1:00 PM Lunch
1:00 - 4:00 PM "Row cleaning" of all rooms before new workshops start.
4:00 - 8:00 PM Dinner, Free time
8:00 - 10:00 PM Track One groups meet / Optional Visiting Teacher Program for Track Two

Saturday & Sunday

3 meals as above.
Work from 8am – 4pm.
Evenings free (sometimes Work Study groups will meet on Saturday evenings).
