In the upper reaches of the canyon on Esalen property, a freshwater spring and creek known as the Source bubbles to the surface.
This spring provides 100% of Esalen's fresh water. Through it, the unique chemistry of Esalen nourishes and invigorates us all, and with its help we cultivate food crops in the farm and garden.
