Below is a list of our guest massage practitioners. (Regularly available massage practitioners can be found on another page.) We also offer alternative bodywork modalities in "Room 23," which include Craniosacral work, La Stone, Rolfing, Shiatsu, Thai massage, Cortical Field Reeducation and others.
Ann Mehling – I like to give a complete and thorough massage giving attention to every part of the body to obtain a sense of wholeness and completeness in the dimensions of body, soul, and spirit. My massage integrates various techniques (such as Deep Tissue, Trager, Trigger Point, energy, classical) into one continuous flow. My hands are, for me, the medium with which I can convey unconditional acceptance, loving attention, healing touch, and presence.
Dean Marson – My massage style incorporates passive movement to bring flexibility to the spine and joints, and gentle, effective muscle work to address specific problem areas. Long flowing strokes add a sense of integrated wholeness to your body; energy balancing leaves you resting in a place of deep relaxation and peace. My special interest is in helping people develop and refine their abilities to care for and heal their own bodies.
Ginger Holladay – With 12 years of experience under my hands, I integrate many modalities. Beginning with gentle rocking and long soothing strokes then moving into deeper contact using elbows to address trigger points and stretching to lengthen the muscles. I complete the massage with energy balancing to leave you with a sense of relaxed wholeness and renewed connection with your self and spirit.
Ilene Connelly – I approach my session with respect, honoring my client with integrity, an open heart, and a strong presence. My hands and intuition guide me to places of restriction and energy blocks. I intertwine the long, flowing strokes of Esalen® Massage, Craniosacral, lymph drainage, deep tissue, reflexology, and Reiki with the intention of promoting self-integration and healing.
Lucia Rose Horan – A massage practitioner since 1991, I use my training in Esalen® Massage, Yoga, Thai Massage, Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue, Aquacranial, Brazilian Energy Healing, and 5Rhythms® to assist in bringing an awareness of balance into the body. I use techniques that are both feminine/nurturing and structural/masculine. All bodies live with the innate knowledge to heal, and I am here to facilitate movement, inviting the internal healing process to unfold. Each session I do is unique, as I follow and respond to your body, using the tools I have gathered over the years.
Reynolds Paul Wehrman – With sensitivity and an open heart, I welcome the opportunity for contact through massage. My skills combine detailed deep tissue work with receptive, listening hands, and allow for an integrated experience on many levels.
Robin Fann – My background is in dance, yoga, and meditation, and my massage work is a continuation of these practices. I use my training in Esalen® Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, and Breema bodywork, as well as my intuition to create a dance that is unique and individual with each person. My intention in every session is to create a safe and supportive environment to evoke the innate wisdom and healing powers of each individual.
Please Note - Esalen® Massage, well-known for its long flowing strokes over the whole body, helps release the stresses of everyday life, leaving the receiver feeling whole, integrated and deeply relaxed, in a natural state of well-being. Esalen practitioners are dedicated to connecting deeply with each client and can usually accommodate specific requests and preferences within the Esalen® massage modality.
