The Relational Turn: The Practice of Sustainability
Many practitioners, across a broad range of disciplines, carry a sense of impending ecological, economic, and social global crisis. Aware of an urgent need to shift how we live and how we understand what it means to be human, many are working for sustainable change. However, proposed solutions often perpetuate a retreat into isolation or a reach for tribal exclusivity and conformity. How then do we find solutions that integrate the need for belonging with the need to respect the uniqueness of the individual?
