Efrat Ashiri (Efi), MA,
is the director of the Galilee Ensemble and Playback Theatre School. She has been leading trainings since 1989 and has developed the first Arab and Jewish Ensemble in the world to use the Playback tool for conflict transformation.
Conflict is everywhere: It is within us, and it is in the world outside. Yet we all yearn for peace. We yearn for the possibility that the different parts of our being, and the different peoples of the world, will finally learn to live together in harmony. Nitsan Gordon and Efrat Ashiri have led peace-building courses for Arab Palestinian and Jewish women and men in Israel for more than eighteen years. Now they have combined their knowledge to create an approach for personal and social transformation that is deep, moving, joyous, physical, emotional, and spiritual.
