Jay Ogilvy first came to Esalen in 1979 and has conceived, designed, and facilitated more Esalen invitational conferences than anyone other than Michael Murphy. Currently, he facilitates conferences for Esalen's Center for Theory and Research including Potential China, Conscious Business and, coming in fall 2012, Complexity Economics. Jay is a faculty member of the Presidio School of Management, and has taught at Yale University, Williams College, and the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Currently, he is a consultant for corporations and organizations on strategic and sustainable growth. He co-founded the Global Business Network, a research and consulting company serving over 100 of the Fortune 500 with strategic planning based on alternative scenarios and intelligence. He is the author of nine books and over fifty articles on a wide range of topics in publications. Jay's connections to and extraordinary breadth and depth in many fields of human endeavor contribute greatly to Esalen's vision of expanding our efforts in creating fellowships of leaders committed to social transformation.
